About

Work should be fun !

That is the topic here. We spend way too many hours at work for it to be a drag. I plan to share stories from the work place on both sides of the fun spectrum.

Who is this Blog for?

This blog is primarily about leadership. It is for anyone who leads others, with or without a title. Leadership is universal. Whether you are a team lead, corporate executive, or simply hang out with other people, sooner or later, you will find others looking to you as a leader. I hope you find something here that helps you do it better.

 Who am I?

I am David Crone – corporate entertainer, speaker, coach and sometimes IT guy. Husband, father, passionate about life and career, I am a former IT executive who left the corner office for center stage with the goal to make those mandatory company functions fun!  I use the motivating power of laughter to drive home important points, or simply let you escape reality and put aside your cares for a while. My personal mission statement: “To make the world a better place, one laugh at a time.”

How to comment

I welcome your comments and feedback on what gets published on this blog. Sadly, there were too many attempts at posting comments for nefarious purposes from autobots and other bogus sources. Keeping up with those and weeding out the bogus from those that were truly comments about the blog became too much work. So, I decided to disable comments on the blog itself. Yes, I know there are plugins that take care of most of those. But, it still requires time to manage and, frankly, I have better things to do. Links to this blog get posted at time of publication on LinkedIn and also Facebook. I encourage you to share your comments there. Or, simply drop me an email.  I’d love to hear your thoughts, whether you agree or disagree. I view violent disagreement as a good thing. It means I struck a nerve that perhaps will help you move ahead in your own direction.
